The School Day
Start of Day
School gates open at 8:45am, with registration at 8:50am.
If you arrive on the playground before 8:50, you remain responsible for your children until the bell rings at 8:50. The adults then say their goodbyes, and the children make their own way to class.
Due to safeguarding, adults are not permitted beyond the playground, so please do not make your way towards the back of the school. There are always staff members on the playground to support you and your child and for any questions or issues.
Lunchtime is 12:15pm-1:15pm
End of Day
The school day ends at 3:20pm for Early Years and KS1 and 3:25pm for KS2pm. Children will be dismissed from their classroom doors. If you wish to speak to your child’s teacher at this point, please wait until all children have been dismissed.
In a typical week, the total time Lyminster Primary School is open amounts to 32.5 hours for EY & KS1 and 33 hours for KS2.
